42 posts, 10,000 page views and a platform change later – today marks a year since my first post was published here on Dainty Dweeb and a lot has happened since that day.

Completely uninteresting fact number one – When I started Dainty Dweeb I had dark brown hair, since then I’ve gone from that to ombre, to a full on blondie and now I’m back dark – a full circle.

When I started writing my blog, I was in a job I hated, wanting more than anything to move out so Nathan and I could start a life of our own. I feel like in the past year my life has changed so much for the better. I’m in a new job, Nathan and I are in our own home and I couldn’t be more happy.

I’m so proud of Dainty Dweeb and how far it’s come in the past year, the amazing people I have met – online and in real life – and the opportunities I’ve been given I am so grateful for.

My goals for the next 12 months, is to write more regularly, attend more blogger events and meet more of you loooovely people. I’d like to make more time to participate in Twitter chats – I miss them!

I’d just like to say a massive thankyou to everyone in the blogging community, the readers, the people I’ve had chance to work with. You’ve all been amazing – here’s to another year!

  1. Congratulations!! And well done for making it through – I’m only at about 2 months and it’s been a LOT of work! It’s so lovely to hear that you’re really enjoying life now, and that your blog grows with you 🙂
I ‘met’ you in a Twitter chat so you must have found some time to get back to them – woohoo! Also I’m well jel of your MAC lipstick collection. Proper envy right now!
    Love Rebecca xx

    1. It is a lot of work, but if you love it then it’s definitely worth it! 🙂
Yes, fortunately I have made space in my schedule to get back to the wonderfulness that is Twitter chats – I love them.
